It can be tricky to find photos to use with presentations and projects, whether for your students or yourself. Pictures and graphics in the public domain, or those licensed with a CC-0 License (Creative Commons-0), can be used without permission and may even be altered/modified or used commercially. I have recently found several sites that offer collections of such photos and graphics, free to use in any way you choose.
While I have used each of these sites recently and found no inappropriate content, please keep in mind that any photography site has the potential to include photos or artwork that might not be appropriate for use in school. Please make sure you take necessary steps to allow your students to use these sites responsibly.
