New 3 Year Contract Approved

Hawthorn District 73 is pleased to announce that the Board of Education and the Hawthorn Education Association representing our teachers and educational support personnel have come to an agreement on a new three-year contract. The contract is good from July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2018.

The success of Hawthorn is based on a partnership between the Board of Education, our teachers and educational support personnel, the Administration and the parents in our community.  The Board appreciates all parties coming together to create a competitive compensation package for our employees while at the same time maintaining the fiscal health of Hawthorn District 73.
