PD Updates

Attached is the PD Calendar for after school sessions for March- May 2018 and the March Tic Tac Toe Form for our “Fly Like An Eagle” Badging Program!

After School Sessions:
As you know, we have tried a variety of things to meet your needs in these after school sessions.

This time we are trying something new again! 🙂
Most of the sessions listed focus on an aspect of UbD units that you have written or are in the process of writing.
We want to help if you are looking for ideas or resources, for your unit, are stuck, want to celebrate or just want some feedback on what to do next.

All of the sessions give you the option to attend in person with us OR stay in your classroom and join us instead via our Google Hangout link. Come for a little or stay the whole time. It’s up to you!

Fly Like An Eagle Badging Program:
Also, don’t forget to fill in your Tic Tac Toe Charts to earn badges! Boxes for collecting these sheets are in your building’s office! We will collect the completed forms for February on Friday, March 2nd!
If you didn’t participate this month, the March Tic Tac Toe starts on Thursday. The March form can be printed from here.

Finally, as a reminder, PINEAPPLE CHARTS are still in your lounges! Please sign up to welcome colleagues into your classroom, or take the time to see a “Pineapple” classroom!

*** SPOILER ALERT- Be on the lookout for our HAWTHORN SUMMER PD EXCURSIONS that you will want to attend! We are heading to hot spots around the suburbs and the city that will broaden your teaching experiences and resources! They will be FUN!
